Katelyn Payne met the love of her life in 6th grade. Dillon played baseball on the high school team, but as a sophomore and her brother's best friend he could not get enough of her strawberry blonde hair, recently-placed braces, and incredible blue eyes. She loved every single high-school thing about him, and their almost life-long crush grew into the sweetest, fun love that anyone could hope for. In mid-November, we trekked into the newly frosted, 23-degree Little Cottonwood Canyon, and had the absolute best time getting to know each other and grow an incredible appreciation for their perfect love. Dillon was the most patient fiancé, never complaining about the cold or running noses, and Katelynn bravely whisked herself onto a bridge 20 feet above the icy river while rocking the most delicious red heels. . Dillon hates heights. They are the most fun, giggly couple, and their sparkly love for one another (and incredible shoes) made it the most perfect winter engagement.
