Ashley. Freaking. Francis. Blows my mind. This styled shoot was designed by Ashley of Areum Event Co., and we had SO MUCH FUN working together. She is a BOMB wedding planner and florist, and has the most gorgeous vision EVERY TIME we get to work with each other. Coming up next month is a New Years Eve wedding at Publik Coffee Co. that we got to work on together, and holy freak, she is good. Stay tuned.

Living downtown has opened my eyes to the insane beauty of the city. While driving through the west side of Salt Lake, I was immediately struck with inspiration from the depth and grunge of the freeway underpass, and the shapes and edges of the cement factory it intersects with. This couple was so magical to work with, and Ashley Francis of Areum Event Co. had the most incredible vision for the drama and color of this session. The way she implemented the stone and shapes of the industrial edge was absolutely stunning, and the geometric backdrop of our shoot paired with its strong mid-century modern influence created the most perfect space for edges + color. How rad it can be where you can find the least expected beauty in the most unexpected places.
Freaking rad.
